Coffee Cake

1 cup flour
3 tabelspoons sugar heaping
1 cup nuts, dates or raisins chopped
1 teaspoon B. P. [baking powder] (level)
salt
1 egg, put in cup and beat with fork then add enough milk to fill the cup
1/3 cube melted butter.

Mix dry ingredients
add fruit
then liquids

Frosting
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoons melted button
cinnamon

cream together and sprinkle over dough which has been place in baking dish or pan
bake in moderate oven 1/2 hr.

Cool oven 250°F
Slow oven 250–350°F
Moderate oven 350–375°F
Hot oven 375–450°F
